noahs ark with animals in pairs

Our Noah’s Ark Colouring Sheets are free to print and provide you with a set of printable Noah’s Ark line drawing pictures to teach kids about this amazing bible story (use them to make worksheets or a workbook too). For children, the adventures of Noah’s family are probably the most famous and most amazing of all the religious stories. Genesis 6 onwards (from the Old Testament) describes how Noah received a special commandment from God to build a huge wooden ark to provide a temporary home for all the earth’s animals in readiness for a great flood.

Noah’s wife and his three sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth (and their wives) entered the Ark too and they endured the rain and flood until the water retreated and the Ark rested on the Ararat mountains. Now enjoy colouring our printable line drawing pictures of Noah’s Ark and all the animals.

Noah Receiving Instructions from God

The first free printable image in our set of Noah’s Ark colouring sheets shows Noah kneeling down in reverence as he receives a message from God. Noah heard that God was unhappy with the people of earth because they were full of anger and violence …. so he planned to remove everyone and everything and start all over again. God gave instructions to Noah to build a huge boat that would save Noah, his wife and family, and two of every kind of animal from a great flood that would soon cover the earth. He set to work straight away.
