Looks like the time has finally come for us to be a bit more grown up! For the first 10 years of www.free-for-kids.com we were solely focussed on producing content for kids and teenagers but we think we’ve been ‘missing a trick’ by not extending our subject matter into the curious world of adults and parents. As always we have a lot to say about – well – everything really and this new avenue will let us explore products, knowledge, experiences and services that we think will bring many benefits to our older visitors.
This collection of Coloring Pages of Moses is great for a variety of ages. The set of 36 free images in JPEG format clearly show the full story of his life from being found amongst the bullrushes in a basket in the Nile through plagues of locusts, boils and blood through to the parting of the Red Sea. Whether you want a page showing two tablets of stone or a Golden Calf this is a great website for Bible studies and religious art activities.
Just four Moses Colouring Pages here but they’re beautifully clear and some of the best for age 3 to age 7 year old children to learn about his life and miracles. Many of these printable Pictures of Moses are in a classical style and may be more suited to creating a kids’ story book than colouring-in. These Moses Coloring Book Pages have a mixture of pictures in both a young cartoon style (ideal for explaining to younger children about the horrible plagues) and in a more realistic style for older pupils. With or without Bible quotes, whether you’re searching for the Pharaoh, Miriam or the parting of the Red Sea this is a great website.
These three printable Moses Colouring Pages include descriptive text with the black and white images. One picture shows God talking to Moses from within a burning bush on Mount Sinai, one shows Moses receiving the Ten Commandments (carved into stone by the finger of God) and the third shows Moses crossing the Red Sea.
We’ve good news and bad news about the great website Sermons For Kids. The good news is that they have an excellent selection of biblical colouring pictures covering all aspects of the Old Testament and New Testament. The bad news is that specific images are a bit hard to find (although it’s time well spent!). ‘Water from a Rock’ (Exodus 17:1-7) for example depicts an important event in Moses’ life as does ‘Manna from Heaven’ (Exodus 16:15) …… “It is the bread that the LORD has given you to eat.”
OK so the ‘Heroes of the Bible’ Colouring Pages over at artistxerocreations.com are not free for kids however at just a dollar or two they might be just the printable that you’ve been hunting for to complete an RE handout or Bible Study worksheet. Not just coloring pages of Moses but many other characters from the Bible too in an engaging and modern cartoon style.
