God's important commandment was that he could eat whatever he liked except fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God then created Eve from Adam's rib. A serpent tricked Eve into eating forbidden fruit and she convinced Adam to do the same. God was angry they had disobeyed him and expelled them from the beautiful Garden of Eden.
